School Beautification Fundraiser

The Crayton Middle School PTO has embarked on a multi-year landscaping project to improve its campus grounds. We need your help and your donations to make this happen.

Nature has a positive effect on the adolescent mind. Study after study shows that it reduces stress, increases mental well-being, improves concentration, and even helps with attention deficits. All of us would prefer to walk through a park rather than an empty, treeless street. Everyone wants to work and live in areas with beautiful trees and landscaping. We know this intuitively.

The Project would:

1. Remove the utility lines in front of the school so that shade trees can be planted along the roadway as an alée.

2. Install a campus-wide irrigation system.

3. Install an arboretum for educational purposes.

4. Plant, upgrade and improve the signage at the school entryway.

5. Install a rain/pollinator garden for educational purposes.

6. Update/improve the outdoor teaching/study area.

7. Add warmth and color to the school campus.

This Project will provide a safer, healthier, and more beautiful space for hundreds of children in our community each and every year. It will also help everyone in the community. School quality, whether your children attend the school or not, is the number one factor in the value of your home. Strong schools attract families and boost the local economy.

All donations are tax deductible and every dollar donated goes toward the Project – there are no administrative costs, no overhead, no fees. Let’s all pitch in and together create a beautiful, permanent improvement in our community.
